The Port Harcourt refineries processed 2,342,951bbls of crude of oil in February 2007, the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) said in its monthly report.
According to the report, the number of crude processed represents 39.85% of the refinery designed throughput for both new and old Port Harcourt Refineries.

According to the report, the number of crude processed represents 39.85% of the refinery designed throughput for both new and old Port Harcourt Refineries. It further stated that a total of seven applications for Permit to Survey (PTS) were received while twelve Permits to Survey were issued during the period of the review.
Companies that applied for permits include Nigerian Agip Oil Company Limited, Addax Petroleum Dev. Nigeria Limited, Federal Ministry of Power & Steel and Total.
DPR also said the sum of N4,627,000 was realized as fees for the various categories of petroleum products licences issued during the period under review.
